Here's what some of Jim's students have had to say:

Jim - I'm very new to the site...and can't thank you enough for the lessons. I'm advancing at a pace even I thought wasn't possible, and for that, I am extremely appreciative. I'm really enojying the process – Adam

I just wanted to let you know that this is what I was looking for. I bought a starter guitar to try to learn and I bought some books but nothing made a connection until I found Jim Deeming at Jam Play. The videos you have are outstanding and Jim is great! I chose to start with Jim because he has a "I want to teach you what I love to do" appeal. THANKS! – Jeff

I find the lessons excellent. I am currently following Jim Deeming because I find his lessons addictive, helpful, easy to follow and enjoyable.
Thank you and well done
Regards
John R.

I’ve taken several of your courses in the beginner section, I think the way you communicate and demonstrate the examples, is the reason. Thank you so much for the help you’ve already been. I look forward to learning the guitar with you as the instructor.
Thank you,
Michael

Jim,
Just wanted to send a quick message to say thanks. I joined Jamplay several months ago and quickly gravitated to your style. Your guitar playing is amazing and after starting your lesson set, I soon realized how much practice and determination it takes to play on your level. I have been playing the guitar for about 14 years and have taken lessons in the past but found it hard to stay motivated...until now. In short...thanks for helping me and inspiring me to reach a level of playing that I thought I would never reach. I have gained more than words can express! Keep up the great work.

P.S. First phase 3 lesson I made it through was your arrangement of Wildwood Flower...months of practice and I got it, performed it for my family, and left them speechless!
Chris

Dear Jam play,
I am a begining guitarist. I bought a capo and got a trial to jamplay. Anyway I cant tell you how impressed I am with Jamplay. I love to learn from Jim Deeming, I couldnt ask for a better teacher. Immediately got a membership to jamplay. Keep up the good work!
sincerely
Greg

"I am 60 years old. During the earlier years of my life I played various brass instruments from elementary school through college. I played with the Kansas City Youth Symphony, Starlight Theater Orchestra, and soloed for a season with the Kansas City Philharmonic Orchestra when I was a Junior in high school. I still hold my high school's record for the most blue ribbons at the State of Missouri solo music contests won by an individual.

I am not bragging here, but setting a frame of reference for my comments which follow. You can imagine from this pedigree how many hours I have spent in private lessons with professional musicians.

I haven't picked up the guitar for about 8 years. Through a series of coincidences I was presented with your web site and a classical guitar on Thanksgiving Day. I selected Jim Deeming and the Fingerstyle program. After about three days, I am with him through Phase 2, Lesson 5. I can even play the whole rip from the prelude to 'Leader of the Band', following Jim's excellent tutoring. This is a musical miracle !

Can't say enough good things about Mr. Deeming, and about your program.

Many thanks for offering such a terrific approach to learning mastery of an instrument. Even for old duffers like me !

With very best regards,
Mike Pope"
